What does it do?
Destroys Bacteria
Plasma sterilises propionibacterium bacteria on contact both on the skin and deeper within the pores, this alone will immediately reduce further bacterial acne, it also calms and promotes healing to treat active and present acne
Aids Absorption without needles
By breaking the Cell Adhesion Molecules(CAMs) that connect the skin cells, we can apply a custom blend of Mesotherapy products that will be delivered transdermally (into the deeper layers of the skin) these traditionally would have been injected or implanted with microneedling. Studies have shown that absorption is increased by x 120.
Accelerates Healing
Plasma energy treatment stimulates the body’s healing processes so is excellent for use on sensitive, affected skin or after any invasive treatment (microneedling/dermal fillers etc).

How does Plasma treat Acne?

What happens during the treatment?
Skin will be thoroughly cleansed and wiped with an antibacterial solution. The hand piece is then passed over the affected area for around 5-10 minutes and if required a mesotherapy solution will be applied to enhance the treatment.
Sessions are 30 minutes and you can resume all normal activities immediately.
How will I look directly afterwards?
Your skin will look absolutely normal afterwards, your complexion will look more even and calm and your skin will be glowing.
How many treatments will I need?
This really depends on the severity of the condition, we recommend a bi-weekly visit for acne treatments and a monthly session for skin rejuvenation.
How long is the appointment?
Plasma is a really quick treatment and can be completed in your lunch break if needed, allow 30-40 minutes total or less if you are not wearing makeup!
What is the aftercare?
There is no aftercare other than to not apply makeup for 12 hours after the treatment, your skin will continue to absorb anything that is applied after the treatment so we ask that you do not apply cosmetics during this time.
What if I am nervous?
It’s perfectly normal to be a little nervous before your treatment, the plasma shower is painless and very relaxing but do address any concerns with your practitioner during the consultation.
What are the treatment costs?
Plasma Shower is £90 as a standalone treatment or £130 with combined mesotherapy
Does it hurt ?
It is completely normal to feel anxious about the procedures. We use a range of topical anaesthetics to ensure that you are as relaxed as possible during the treatment and that any discomfort is kept to an absolute minimum. Most clients describe the sensation as ‘tingling vibrations’ rather than pain and many fall asleep during the procedure.
