Cherry Angioma Removal
Cherry Angiomas are small, round bright red blemishes that usually appear in your late 20’s, they can vary wildly in size from .5mm to 6mm and are found on the face and torso. Cherry Amgiomas are a benign cluster of blood vessels and often known as blood spots, cherry angiomas or Campbell de Morgan spots.
They can be left untreated as they are harmless but people will often want Cherry Angioma removal for cosmetic reasons.
Cherry Angioma removal
Cherry Angioma removal is very quick and extremely effective using advanced electrolysis. The feeding vessel to the angioma is cauterised which immediately removes smaller angiomas. Larger/raised angiomas may form a scab and in some cases may need a second treatment to remove, we strongly advise having the treatment whilst the angiomas are still quite small. If your angioma is larger than 5mm we would recommend cryotherapy
The treatment session is 30 minutes and we can treat around 15-30 angiomas in this time, depending on size. You will be able to resume your daily activities after treatment without any downtime although we do ask that you keep the skin cool and avoid any heat.
Appointments can be booked via our secure online booking form or by calling our clinic on 0207 792 9132.
We do suggest that you contact your GP if you see any changes to the shape, colour or texture of the angioma.

Does it hurt ?
It is completely normal to feel anxious about the procedures. We use a range of topical anaesthetics to ensure that you are as relaxed as possible during the treatment and that any discomfort is kept to an absolute minimum. Most clients describe the sensation as ‘tingling vibrations’ rather than pain and many fall asleep during the procedure.
