Eye Rejuvenation Treatments
The eyelid has been one of the most difficult areas to treat traditionally with the only option being a surgical blepharoplasty, also known as an upper/lower eyelid lift.
The skin on our eyelids is very thin so does not respond well to other treatments or creams, dermal fillers and wrinkle reducing injections cannot be used in this area.
As we get older, the skin becomes saggy and crepey in appearance, which can age us prematurely and cause makeup to crease and be very difficult to apply. We often start seeing crows feet around the eyes at this time which have only responded previously to injectable treatments. Other conditions such as hooded eyelids or droopy eyelids can be genetic as well as a sign of ageing.
CO2 Laser
This new procedure harnesses the power of the CO2 laser but in a way that the more delicate tissue around the eye can be addressed. It’s a similar procedure to the Plasma Lift in that the skin is being ablated but without the telltale dots and less downtime.
When the laser comes into contact with the skin it is permanently ablated leaving the skin immediately tighter and firmer with results continuing over the follwing months.
Plasma Eye Lift
Plasma Eye Lift (may also be referred to as Fibroblast) is an extremely effective solution for tightening the skin on our eyelids and crows feet without expensive surgery. The tightening is achieved by using a small pen which creates an ionised arc of plasma. When the pen is close to contact with the surface of the skin it creates a tiny microdot, this instantly vaporises the unwanted skin, immediately tightening the surrounding area, removing unwanted skin and lines.

Commonly Asked Questions
How will I look directly after the plasma eye lift?
For the CO2 and Plasma; you will see an immediate improvement in the eyelid/crows feet area. After the treatment, temporary swelling will occur on the areas where the treatment has been applied. This generally lasts 2-3 days before subsiding naturally.
This is absolutely normal and is a result of the body’s natural response mechanism. The small-carbonised dots produced during the plasma treatment will fall off around day 5-7.
For the NCTF and Derma Eye, you will have raised areas where the product has been applied, this generally lasts between 2-12 hours
How many treatments will I need?
A single CO2/plasma lift treatment session is sufficient to make improvements to skin tightness, multiple treatments may be recommended for those with very heavy or crepey eyelids.
The NCTF & Derma Eye protocol is one treatment every 10-14 days for 5 sessions
What will the results look like?
Since these options do not use dermal fillers or muscle relaxers the results will look extremely natural. You will look like yourself, but with smoother, younger skin.
What if I am nervous?
It’s not unusual to be nervous before a treatment, especially if it is your first time. Rest assured that a topical anaesthetic will be applied to ensure that the CO2 & plasma procedures are as comfortable as possible and Borciani London staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about your treatment.

Does it hurt ?
It is completely normal to feel anxious about the procedures. We use a range of topical anaesthetics to ensure that you are as relaxed as possible during the treatment and that any discomfort is kept to an absolute minimum. Most clients describe the sensation as ‘tingling vibrations’ rather than pain and many fall asleep during the procedure.
