Plasma eye lift treatment
Eye Bag Treatment.
The eyelid has been one of the most difficult areas to treat traditionally with the only option being a surgical blepharoplasty, also known as an upper/lower eyelid lift. The skin on our eyelids is very thin so does not respond well to other treatments or creams, dermal fillers and wrinkle reducing injections also cannot be used in this area.
As we get older, the skin becomes saggy and crepey in appearance, which can age us prematurely and cause makeup to crease and be very difficult to apply. We often start seeing crows feet around the eyes at this time which have only responded previously to injectable treatments. Other conditions such as hooded eyelids or droopy eyelids can be genetic as well as a sign of ageing.
What is Plasma Eye Lift?
Plasma Eye Lift (may also be referred to as Fibroblast) is an extremely effective solution for tightening the skin on our eyelids and crows feet without expensive surgery. The tightening is achieved by using a small pen which creates an ionised arc of plasma. When the pen is close to contact with the surface of the skin it creates a tiny microdot, this instantly vaporises the unwanted skin, immediately tightening the surrounding area, removing unwanted skin and lines.
Who is Plasma Eye Lift Good For?
The plasma lift is a great option for anyone 35+ who is starting to see sagging in their eyelid or who suffers from a hooded eyelid. It can also be used to treat:
- Removing lines around the eyes
- Reducing smokers lines around the mouth
- Tightening skin on the neck and reducing crease lines
- Tightening crepey skin on the chest/décolletage
- Removing Milia, Skin Tags and Cherry Angiomas
- Removing moles and pigmentation (sun damage, age spots)
- Reduce and smooth hypertrophic (raised) scars
Commonly Asked Questions
How will I look directly after the plasma eye lift?
You will see an immediate improvement in the eyelid/crows feet area. After the treatment, temporary swelling may occur on the areas where the treatment has been applied. This generally lasts 2-3 days before subsiding naturally.
This is absolutely normal and is a result of the body’s natural response mechanism. The small-carbonised dots will fall off around day 5-7.
How many treatments will I need?
A single plasma lift treatment session is sufficient to make improvements to skin tightness, multiple treatments may be recommended for those with very heavy or crepey eyelids.
What will the results look like?
Since plasma lift does not use fillers, muscle relaxers or any surgical procedures, the results look extremely natural. You will look like yourself, but with smoother, younger skin.
Results can be seen immediately and will become more visible over the following weeks. The results are permanent and do not ‘fade away’, you will only require a maintenance session when the skin naturally ages again.
How long is the Plasma Eye Lift Treatment?
Plasma lift treatments sessions generally last 90 minutes depending on the size of the area to be treated, this includes 45 minutes of numbing to ensure you are comfortable.
What is the aftercare?
Following your treatment you will be asked to keep the area dry and out of the sun, we will provide full aftercare instructions and aftercare cream at your treatment.
What is the aftercare?
What if I am nervous?
It’s not unusual to be nervous before a treatment, especially if it is your first time. Rest assured that a topical anaesthetic will be applied to ensure that the plasma eye lift procedure is as comfortable as possible and Borciani London staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about your treatment.
What are the risks of the treatment?
Plasma lift is non-surgical, so risks are extremely minimal compared to surgical skin tightening procedures. You may experience some swelling around the treatment site for a few days following plasma lift however this generally subsides within 3 days to a week. With some skin types, there may be a risk or hyperpigmentation or if you are exposed to the sun.

Does it hurt ?
It is completely normal to feel anxious about the procedures. We use a range of topical anaesthetics to ensure that you are as relaxed as possible during the treatment and that any discomfort is kept to an absolute minimum. Most clients describe the sensation as ‘tingling vibrations’ rather than pain and many fall asleep during the procedure.
