- The skin looks normal afterwards, areas can be a little pink but these can be covered
- There is very little to no downtime with this treatment, we do ask that you avoid heat sources such as saunas for 7 days and use extra sun protection.
Am I a good candidate?
The best candidate is someone who is experiencing inflammatory breakouts, redness, pigmentation or visible vascular legions
For safety reasons, you may not be able to get this treatment if you have/are:
- Pregnant or breastfeeding
- Current or history of cancer
- A degenerative neurologic disease or any other disease around the treatment area that’s triggered by heat (e.g., herpes)
- Darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick V &VI)
- Uncontrolled thyroid gland disorder
- Skin-related autoimmune diseases

How many treatments will I need?
This depends on the severity of your condition, superficial vascular legions are removed in 1-2 sessions, redness from rosacea is significantly reduced in 2-4 sessions and pigmentation/melasma 4-6 sessions. Your practitioner will be able to advise during your consultation.
How long do results last?
The results are permanent, once the discolouration has been removed it will not return. However, your condition may return at a later date if it is persistent.
