How many treatments will I need?

This will depend on the area we are treating but most patients will follow the standard protocol which is 2 sessions, 14 days apart from each other, followed by another 1-2 sessions, 21 days apart.

Maintenance can be carried out every 3-6 weeks.

What does the treatment feel like?

The treatment is very comfortable and we will use a topical anaesthetic. Very small needles are used to inject the product or we can also use microneedling to implant the polynucleotides.

Who is a good candidate?

Anyone looking to improve the quality of their skin naturally without the use of anti wrinkle injections or dermal fillers.

This treatment may not be suitable for:

Vegetarians and vegans: Polynucleotides are derived from animal products, such as salmon or trout.
People with fish allergies:
People who are pregnant or breastfeeding: Polynucleotides are not recommended during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

Do I need to prepare for the treatment?

Please try to hydrate before the treatment and avoid retinols for a few days prior. Do not take any blood thining medications (unless these are prescribed).

How will I look afterwards, is there any downtime?

The downtime is comparable to any injectable and this inlcudes a small chance of bruising. There may be small bumps visible for 24-48 hours around the eyes although these tend to disperse within a few hours.

What is the aftercare?

Please avoid touching the area that has been treated. Avoid alcohol and any heat sources such as saunas to prevent bruising.
