Profhilo Treatment Borciani London

Profhilo Treatment London

Profhilo is a revolutionary skin bio-remodelling treatment designed to hydrate, tighten, and rejuvenate ageing or tired skin. Unlike traditional dermal fillers, Profhilo stimulates your skin’s natural production of collagen and elastin, improving skin texture, elasticity, and overall radiance without altering facial contours.

Profhilo contains one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid (HA) on the market, which boosts hydration and improves skin tone and firmness. This treatment is especially effective for areas prone to ageing, such as the face, neck, décolletage, and hands.

How Does Profhilo Work?

Profhilo works through a unique process called bio-remodelling. It’s injected into specific points across the treatment area, where it spreads evenly under the skin. Unlike traditional fillers that stay in one area, Profhilo diffuses across the tissue, creating a smooth, plump appearance while stimulating your skin’s natural healing process.

The treatment is minimally invasive and involves two sessions spaced one month apart. Results can be seen in as little as four weeks, with improvements continuing over several months.

Before Treatment and 4 weeks after the first treatment. Notice the tightening of the jawline and cheeks, lines around the mouth, nasolabial folds and marionette lines have reduced significantly.

Polynucleotides v Profhilo

What’s the Difference

We are often asked what the difference is between Profhilo and Polynucleotides .  When it comes to skin rejuvenation both of these treatements are a great option.  So, what makes them different, and which one is right for you?

Polynucleotides: Polynucleotides are a newer, cutting-edge treatment that uses DNA fragments to repair and rejuvenate the skin. They help to stimulate collagen, elastin, and improve tissue regeneration. They’re known for their ability to heal damaged skin, brighten, and give a ‘glass skin’ effect.

Best for:

  • Reversing signs of ageing
  • Scarring (including acne scars)
  • Pigmentation and sun damage
  • Tired, sagging skin
  • Skin repair and healing

Benefits:

  • Deep tissue regeneration
  • Evens skin tone
  • Improves texture and skin firmness
  • Strong anti-inflammatory and repair properties

Profhilo: Profhilo is a unique, injectable treatment containing a high concentration of pure hyaluronic acid. Unlike traditional fillers, it spreads beneath the skin to deeply hydrate, improve skin elasticity, and stimulate collagen production.

Best for:

  • Loss of skin elasticity
  • Dehydrated skin
  • Tired, dull-looking skin

Benefits:

  • Ultra-hydrating
  • Boosts collagen and elastin
  • Plumps and firms the skin
  • Improves overall skin quality

Commonly asked questions Profhilo

  • Who is Profhilo for?

Adults seeking a natural improvement in skin hydration, elasticity and overall quality. It’s suited to early laxity and dehydration and can be used on face, neck, décolletage and hands subject to assessment.

  • What happens during treatment?

After a consultation, small injections are placed at specific points. The appointment takes ~30 minutes. Mild bumps, redness or bruising are common and usually settle within 24–72 hours.

  • How many treatments will I need?

Usually two sessions a month apart to start. Maintenance is typically every 6–12 months depending on your skin and goals.

  • How long do results last?

Many people maintain improvements for up to ~6 months before a top-up, though this varies with skin, lifestyle and area treated.

  • Is Profhilo painful?

Discomfort is generally mild. A topical anaesthetic can be used to maximise comfort.

  • What are the risks?

Common effects include temporary redness, swelling, small bumps at injection sites and bruising. Less commonly, infection or inflammatory reactions may occur. We follow medical-grade hygiene and aftercare to minimise risk.

  • Can Profhilo be combined with other treatments?

Often yes — for example with energy-based treatments or microneedling — but sequencing matters. We’ll advise on safe intervals.
