What you need to know about Microblading

Regardless of whether you like your eyebrows straight, bold, feathered or arched, there is no doubt that your brows are among the most defining features on your face. If you’re not happy with the way they look, there are a lot of ways in which you can alter them to create a look that works best for you. Pencils and brow gels are good solutions to achieving your look, but they require you to work on them daily. Microblading is an effective technique to consider when looking for a more permanent solution.

Accentuating Your Most Important Facial Feature
A relatively new method, microblading is a technique of “eyebrow embroidery” and gives long lasting results. It is a manual method which creates hyper-real, individual strokes of hair. The technique makes use of a fine blade to deposit pigments into the epidermis to provide you with flawless, natural and fuller looking brows.

This option is perfect for those who want to entirely define or reconstruct their brows to cover gaps, or fill-in areas that are sparse due to over-plucking. Lash and eyebrow experts around the world swear by this technique and feel that men and women who wish to get natural results will find this technique to be extremely effective.

How Does Microblading Work?
It all begins with the technician using a special microblading pen to draw each individual stroke on your brow one by one. This process is an extremely detailed one and results of microblading can be enjoyed for about 12 months, after which you might need a refresh session. To make sure that you’re happy with the results, the first hour is spent drawing the shape with a removable pencil. After you pick the ideal shape, which is customized to your facial structure and your intended look, the process of microblading begins.
Before it starts though, a topical numbing cream or a liquid anaesthetic will be applied on your brows, to make sure that you undergo minimum discomfort during the process.

Will I Have to Take Any Precautions After the Procedure?
The good thing about microblading is that it’s not a pain-intensive technique. There is also no down-time required after you undergo the treatment. You will be up and about, ready to flaunt your new brows in no time.
Unlike other conventional techniques, such as eyebrow extensions, here you don’t have to worry about rubbing your eyes or brow area, going for swims or continuing your daily routine. With little to no special care required, microblading is an excellent solution for getting the perfect eyebrows.
